Groomed Dogs (non-shedding hair)
Hair bearing dogs have variable coat types and each one requires a different amount of effort. Curly (thick) coats generally require more effort and scissoring than straight (fine) coats, thick coats require much more drying time and work than thin ones, etc. Our clientele are wonderful breed blends with a mix of characteristics they have inherited from their lineage. Our pricing is set by size and coat type with fees for condition, behaviour issues and special circumstances calculated additionally. Please contact us for a free consultation or for information on which grooming service is best for your dog.
Full Groom Package
Includes ear cleaning*, nail trim, overall check for problem areas, warmed shampoo and conditioner, soap free soft cloth wash of eye area, hydro-massage rinse, towel dry, High Velocity hand dry (no enclosed dryer EVER), gentle handling or removal of knots and matts when encountered, full body clipper work and always hand scissored, bow(s) or bandana to finish.
Bathed Dogs (shedding fur)
Fur-bearing breeds (sometimes mistakenly referred to as double-coats) require more work the larger they get. Although there isn't much time spent using the clippers or scissoring, a large longer coated dog requires a lot of elbow grease during the bath, blow dry and undercoat removal phases of his/her groom and will cost more than a smaller dog with the same type of coat. Our pricing is set to reflect a minimum fee based on size and coat length, fees for behaviour and special circumstances calculated additionally. Visit our booking site to find the bath package that best suits your dog's needs.
Full Bath Package

ANAL GLAND EXPRESSION**
Due to changes in the Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association's interpretation of the term "Medical Procedure", groomers in Saskatchewan are no longer permitted to perform anal gland expression for their clients. To schedule this procedure, please contact your veterinarian. We apologize for the inconvenience and added expense this change will cause, however without permission to perform the procedure for you, we are unable to attain insurance coverage to do so.
There have been numerous changes to the way we approach ear care. Studies by veterinary dermitologists have proven that less is more, a philosophy we have tested in our grooming room as well. As a result, our policy on ear care is to prevent moisture penetration during the bath, provide astringent cleaner after the bath to evaporate any excess moisture, and carefully clean wax and debris from the outer ear only. Ear hair removal will only be performed at our discretion when we are able to do so with minimal exertion. Any invasive ear procedures should be performed by your veterinarian.
